I wanted to share with you the compassion and kindness shown to my dog Reggie by James.

James has been supporting Reggie for some time treating Corneal Users in his eye.

As a family our little Reggie means the world to us. Having James support and treat Reggie has been a complete joy.

Reggie is a 12-month Staffie who is hectic and bouncy. The patience, empathy and compassion shown to us as a family and to Reggie has been remarkable.

I wanted to ensure that I shared this with you.

I have owned dogs all my life and have met many vets, but James’s approach is very unique.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your kindness with my dog Guinness and myself last week.

You have been absolutely amazing from the start with your communication and explaining everything to me, to the way you were with Guinness on the day.

It was so reassuring to know Guinness was in really safe hands. He has been a difficult dog with complex behavioural issues, due to his previous bad home before I rescued him, so ensuring we did not go backwards with his ongoing training was really important to us, but Guinness seems completely unphased by the whole thing!

Thank you for being so calming with him, and me! As I know I was very worried at the time. You put me at ease as soon as we spoke, and I really appreciated you informing me the details of each step of the procedure.

As a practice we have been using Rata as our preferred surgical referral service for many years and have always been 100% satisfied with them.  Having the ability of keeping our patients at the practice and being involved in their surgery and aftercare is such a valuable service for both the prcatice and more importantly the owners who value continuity of care more than anything.
